Restaurant Review

Tucked away, in a very unassuming shopping centre out in the Johannesburg Kyalami area, is where you will find this quaint, yet refined little cafe.

With beautiful foliage, rustic seating, and a classy bar area you can enjoy the most delectable, well thought out food ,made with the finest local, organic ingredients.

Loved by many locals, the staff are always helpful and willing to make your visit a pleasant one.

One time they brought me large cappuccino (which was actually very large) and I jokingly said, "this is too small don’t you have bigger cup", to which the waiter proceeded to go get me a soup bowl…” Will this work better ma’am” he asked lol.

This is my go-to place either when I want to have a quick catchup with a friend, or sit by myself, and have a decent coffee and a delicious piece of cake while I work. I even hosted my birthday party here once. They host the prettiest high tea's and you can also have a sophisticated dinner with that someone special.

Since I consider myself a regular here, I’ve eaten a few of their meals, from the basic 3 cheese toastie, to their halloumi starter, mouth watering pastas and delicately, cooked to perfection grilled salmon, and I cant say that I was disappointed. The only negative, if I'm honest, is the location :( It is not my favourite... and I'm not referring to the area, just the shopping centre, that in my opinion does not do justice to this hidden gem!

I love supporting local restaurant's that take pride in using great produce and providing excellent service...its is well worth every penny!
